• Swimmers already having lessons with D2D will have priority on places provided they re-enrol on time.
  • Re enrolment normally occurs 2/3 weeks prior to the end of term.
  • All other places are booked on a first come first serve bases.
  • Only 1 parent/guardian is to accompany the swimmer/s to the lesson and swimmers come beach ready.
  • No outdoor shoes are allowed on poolside.
  • The group that your child will be placed is down to the teachers discretion which may change during the term. The lane in which they are placed does not relate to any badges.
  • Full payment can secure your swimmer/s place. If payment has not been made before the start of the lesson you will not be allowed entry.
  • Term lengths may vary and prices based on the number of lessons per term.
  • In the unusual event of a teacher’s absents D2D will make sure a replacement teacher is provided. However if this is not possible classes may be joined together where considered appropriate.
  • D2D hires the pool from The Forest School and is not directly responsible for the pool/building maintenance.
  • In the unusual event of a pool closure D2D will offer extra dates at the end of term. No refund will be given. If this is not an option D2D will offer credit notes in lieu for future lessons.
  • Cancellations of lessons from swimmers will not be accepted and no refunds given after the lessons have commenced, it is out policy not to offer make-up lessons for non-attendance.
  • Upon closure D2D will contact you either by email, phone call or social media this will be your responsibility to check.
  • Parents are responsible for children in the changing area, it is very important that children behave appropriately at all times. In the interest of safety inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated during or after the lesson.
  • If a parent wishes to speak to the teacher they must wait till the lessons is over to arrange a suitable time.
  • Please be changed and ready to start on time for the lesson.
  • It is not the responsibility for D2D to look after swimmers prior to their arrival on the poolside or once they have left.
  • If your child is swimming please do not leave the premises during the lesson and ensure you are there to collect them at the end.
  • Please inform the teacher if someone else is collecting your child.
  • D2D will provide the equipment needed but please ensure your child wears a swimming hat. Swimming goggles are allowed.
  • We reserve the right in exceptional circumstances to exclude you.
  • There is a non-smoking policy on the school grounds.
  • No responsibility is accepted by D2D for the loss or damage of property brought onto site this includes vehicles and personal belongings.
  • All information provided will be used solely by D2D for booking records only and remains confidential.

  • Our staff have the right to be treated with respect and dignity at all times. Aggressive and abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. We are here to help you. Please treat others as you wish to be treated.
  • No photographs / videos should be taken on site.
  • Food and drink should not be taken onto poolside.
  • If the swimmer has had sickness / diarrhoea in the past 24 hours they must not attended lessons for a week.
